Counselling

Renâitre Counselling and Psychotherapy Services enables you to explore your role in life.  Our psychological expertise will enable you to achieve clarity, identify what is disturbing and hurting you, and – more importantly – define strategies for regaining control and happiness.  Our aim is to listen carefully and try to help individuals, couples and groups pursue their own understanding of what is happening to them, and to seek out their own ways forward.

Specialist support is also available in the form of:

• Trauma (major incident) counselling
• Family and group therapy
• Grief and bereavement counselling (from five years upwards)
• Pastoral, cultural, and integrative counselling

We offer a secure and confidential professional relationship through which problems can be identified, confronted, and resolved in the privacy of regular, reliable sessions.  Our approach is thoughtful, sensitive and respectful. 

Enhanced Nursing Services

Sheila Lagnaz is also a Clinical Psychologist and Advance Nurse Practitioner, and an Independent and Supplementary Prescriber.  This means she has the necessary skills to consult, diagnose, and prescribe within her scope of professional practice.

Sheila can offer nursing assistance with the following physical illnesses, which can have a major detrimental effect on the psychological being:

• Asthma/Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
• Depression and Mental Health
• Diabetes
• Epilepsy
• Hypothyroidism
• Hypertension/Coronary Heart Disease
• Sexual Health
• Smoking Cessation
• Stroke/TIA
• Weight Loss/Obesity

Costs

• Counselling is charged at £45.00 per hour for individuals, and £60.00 for a couple.
  Group rates may be negotiated separately.

• Enhanced Nursing Services are charged at £30.00 per hour.
